BASIC LEARNING AND LANGUAGE SKILLS
When talking about basic skills for learning and language, we are talking about a set of skills that children acquire to be able to learn well and acquire language; these skills are essential in the learning process and essential in language acquisition. In case of absence of these skills, it will lead to a delay in learning and a delay in language acquisition.

The basic skills for learning and language have been divided into 6 basic major skills, and each skill has its own details
1- PREPARATION

2- IMITATION

3- RECEPTIVE LANGUAGE

- Recognizes some pictures

4- EXPRESSIVE LANGUAGE
- Points to the reinforcer
- Points the things he wants
- To imitate some sounds
- To name the reinforcers
- To name some of the common things around him
- To name some common pictures
- To request verbally
- Expressing yes or no (head, hand, or verbal)
5- SELF-CARE
- Drinks from a cup
- Uses the spoon
- Takes off and puts on shoes
- Takes off and puts on the pants
- Takes off and puts on the shirt
- To use tissue
- To use the bathroom
6- PLAY
After presenting these skills, it becomes clear to us how important all these skills are for the child. It is necessary for the child to have these skills in order to be able to learn, acquire and develop his language.
